i really hate when this happens, problem resolved on its own without any intervention from my staff and no idea how.

the ASA replaced a cisco router which was not handling the load of connections, also all configuration is done properly on the ASA (same-security-traffic permit intra-interface, same-security-traffic permit inter-interface, nat-control ...)
